Martin has a very well established client base, covering London and the South East, the North West, North East and the West of England, handling serious and organised crime cases. Throughout this period, Martin has developed a dedicated but friendly approach to defending criminal cases, complimented by a strong will to win. He has a team of recognised and respected solicitors and counsel from highly-regarded barristers’ chambers, with whom there is an established winning mentality.
Specialisms
Martin has represented clients in respect of serious sexual offences, blackmail, kidnap, murder, armed robbery, firearms, serious frauds including Serious Fraud Office prosecuted VAT cases and CIS (Construction Industry Tax Scheme) frauds, carousel frauds, organised and international crime, including major drugs and gems importations, as well as international money laundering and confiscation. Martin has successfully defended football violence related matters and has acted on behalf of the Medical Defence Union in respect of unlawful activity by one of its members. Martin also represents celebrity clients and has worked with ITV. This has led to high profile representation in respect of historical sexual allegations. He has a reputation for discrete and bespoke representation in such cases.
